Your Services
Our connection to your program is through the film data you provide to us. When you finish breaking down your film export your breakdown data to an Excel file and submit that data to us. That initiates activity on our end.
Preparing & Sending Your Film Data
1. Export your film data to an Excel file
Once you've finished breaking down your film export your raw data to an Excel file (.xls or .xlsx). If you are uncertain how to export your film data contact us and we will walk you through the process.
2. Rename the Excel file
Modify the name of the file created in Step 1 to Include the appropriate FileTag and the name of the Team whose data is contained in the file. A FileTag is a unique identifier that tells our systems "who" has send the data and "what type" of dat it contains. Your program has a specific list of FileTags both Offensive & Defensive Self Scout & Opponent Scout data.
In addition to your FileTag, include the name of the Team being referenced in parenthesis "()". This will allow our systems to reference that team in all results files.
Your various results files will be named in keeping with the name of the file you send us. So name your files according to the way you'd like to manage and maintain them on your end.
Example 1: Mountain State College is submitting Defensive Self Scout data for their first 5 games. Their unique FileTag for this data is "MSC3". They could name their breakdown file "MSC3 (Mountain State Def) Games 1-5.xlsx"
Example 2: Mountain State College's Offensive Staff is submitting their Opponent Scout data on Prairie State College's defense. Their unique FileTag for this data is "MSC2". They could name their breakdown file "MSC2 (Prairie State Off).xlsx"
3. Submit the Excel file
Send your file(s) from Step 2 to filmdata@r2sportstech.com

Processing Time
In season (during the months of August-December) for data received between the hours of 9:00AM-11:59PM EST you can expect to receive your results within the following timeframes:
Off season (January-July) you can expect results to be delivered within the following timeframes:
There are a few issues that directly affect these turn times. The most common of which are:
Incorrect usage of your FileTags
When including your FileTag in the name of the file you're submitted (Step 2 in the Preparing & Sending your Film Data above) it is important that your FileTag be exactly as shown in your settings (no spaces, use of caps, etc). If the FileTag is incorrect, our system will not automatically process the file - putting it into a holding pattern until we can manually correct the issue.
Changing the Field Names in your Film Breakdown
We "wire" our system to read and reference your data based on the various Field Names that are included in your breakdown. If those Field Names change we have to modify things are our end to accommodate those changes. So consistency in the naming of your data Fields will insure that your files are processed as rapidly as possible.
