There are 3 keys to interpreting and working with one of our dashboards:
1. SIZE indicates the Strength of a Tendency - in any given area, the bigger the box, the more often its happened. In our example below this team operates out of "11" Personnel more than any other (its the biggest box in the OFFENSIVE PERSONNEL section)
2. COLOR indicates Offensive Performance - offensive efficiency is presented on a color scale ranging from RED/ORANGE (indicating very poor performance) through GREEN/BLUE (indicating excellent performance) . In our example this team performed poorly on plays run from the "SLOT" formation (it's orange) but was reasonably good operating out of the "I" formation (its green).
3. Dashboards are INTERACTIVE - you get information from them by interacting (clicking, using filters, "mousing" over items). Clicking on any of the information you see will dynamically update the dashboard to show you everything associated with that selection. For example if you click on the “DICE” formation everything else will update to show information only associated with plays run out of the "DICE" formation (you’ll see every play that was run, routes run, etc…). You can click multiple items at the same time, clicking next on 1st down would show all 1st Down plays out of the "DICE" formation.
